Our Dance Classes
Join our students at Cedartown Academy of Performing Arts in Cedartown, Georgia today! We welcome Dancers as young as two years old. Get in touch with us for more details about the classes we offer.
Registration Day for the 2022-2023 school term is on Sunday, in July 24th, 2022, from 1 - 5 pm at the Academy Studio. Dance Max from Marietta will be here for dance supplies, shoes, dancewear, and accessories.
You may register online by July 10 following the link under the registration tab.
Classes offered are: Tap, Ballet/Lyrical, Jazz, AcroTumbling, Hip Hop, Competition Teams, along with First Steps First (Tiny Tots) for ages 2-year-old's is also being offered at the Academy.
* New this year for ages 18 & Up is Country Line Dancing taught by husband and wife team, Steve and Sarah St. Clair. New classes begin November 1st, 2022! Call the studio at 470-222-9005 for information and registration!
2022 CAPA Christmas Spectacular will be held at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at 3 pm. Fun for the entire family and all ages! Celebrating our holiday season! "Creating Dancers Every Step We Take!".
The staff at the Academy is energetic, artistic, creative, powerful in performance and technique, and dynamic as teachers and role models for your children, our student dancers. There will be performances throughout the year for Christmas and our annual spring recital! This Christmas we will present the classic, "The Nutcracker" featuring the Cherokee Ballet Theatre on Sunday, December 19th at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center at 3 pm. The Annual Spring Show will be announced soon!
Early Registration will be underway on July 10th, 2021 online. Classes begin Monday, August 2nd, 2021.
